S:O:S: - Originals of this Morse-Spotlight were used on vessels of the French navy for Morse communication. A signal language, which was developed in the 40ies of the 18th century and used for more than a century and a half. The louvers could be quickly opened and closed by a handle to send optical Morse signals. An impressive decoration piece with functional light effect. Spotlight and tripod are manufactured from solid polished aluminium and highlighted with brass fittings and hinges.
